After introductions by assorted dignitaries, the body of the book takes each year in turn, a narrative summary of US Air Force activity is complimented by a diary giving dates of key events, and a full colour plate of a painting relevant to the period. Each section spans 3 pages and includes plenty of period photographs. Presentation is excellent, in summary this is a good combination of useful reference and some fine examples of aviation art, many of which most readers will not have seen before.
