Background
Probably best known for the way he has combined a successful career as a combat pilot with his enthusiasm for aviation art. Michael Rondot spent 25 years in the RAF, logging over 5000 hours on fast combat jets including active service during the Gulf War in 1991. A founder member of the Guild of Aviation Artists, his original works are to be found in private and public collections worldwide.

For Collectors
Over 80 of Michael Rondot’s paintings have been reproduced as limited edition prints, a number of these have sold out and are only available on the secondary market. Particularly of note is the Gulf War Collection, signed by many of the participating RAF aircrew, these are unique in that the artist was also flying combat missions, and should be part of any serious aviation art collection. Michael’s remarques are also recommended, they are meticulously executed and reasonably priced. F104G Starfighter - The Widowmaker by Michael Rondot

Our Favourite
The undisputed King Of The Wet Runway has portrayed a number of aircraft in this style. Our favourite though is The Widowmaker, a beautifully atmospheric rendition of the F-104G Starfighter.
