In this fresh look at the Pacific War, the objective of the authors was to go behind the usual sound bites and bring to life some of the lesser known, but no less important, acts of drama, courage and individual heroism. The volume is structured around the aviation art work of Jack Fellows, a professional artist, well known and respected in the USA.
The content is structured chronologically from Pearl Harbor to the final Japanese surrender ceremony held on the USS Missouri on 2nd September 1945. The well written and informative text makes easy and compelling reading and there is a liberal sprinkling of good quality period photos. Overall production quality is excellent.
